February Challenge #2

February's second challenge comes from Bekka who says: "When I was participating in a 365 self-portrait challenge, I would accidentally zoom in on myself too much, which usually resulted in a photo of one eye. I used to immediately delete these "mistakes" until I saw one that caught my attention."

For this challenge, turn the camera toward you and deliberately zoom in too close. Then, create a page about your eye (or eyes) in the the photo. Maybe they are expressive ... maybe they've seen something special. This is the Pretty Committee, so we can't forget about the makeup! Use eye makeup somewhere on your page - you can use the real thing or you can "fake" it by using a mascara brush and black paint (to create the look of mascara), use chalk as eyeshadow, pens for eyeliner - there are so many possibilities!!

Here's what our design team came up with ...

Bekka used black paint and a mascara brush on her page.

Donna used glittered eyeshadow left-over from Halloween on her page.

Stephanie used waterproof mascara on her page.

We love how Sarah used multiple copies of the same photo on her page!

Be sure to send us your layout by February 25th for your chance to win the wonderful prize pack from Paper Trail Studio. And swing by the blog on Valentine's Day for some extra lovin'.
